ACADEMICS
Academics are of the utmost importance. Coach Gilbert's basketball program will be held to a high academic standard, both individually and as a team, adhering to all school's Code of Conduct and Academic Expectations. His team will strive for excellence in the classroom. The team goal is to maintain a 3.3 semester GPA and to consistently have representatives on the Dean’s List and earn conference Academic Honors.
Academic Evaluations
Evaluations will be conducted at the end of the semester, including summer school. Study Hall hours will be set and assessed at the end of each semester.
Academic Monitoring
Each player will be assigned to a Coach, within the team to be their Academic Advisor. They will meet weekly with their Academic Coach to go over the week’s events and update their coach on all academic issues.
Class Attendance
Class attendance is mandatory. Unexcused absences will not be tolerated.
Discipline
Student- athletes will be disciplined when they have academic misses or any attendance issues.
